Emmerdale icon lands new job – leaving someone very angry

Despite what he may think, Emmerdale’s Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) is not a savvy businessman.
Caleb Miligan (William Ash) has completely got one over on him and he hasn’t got a ruddy clue.
Jai likes to think of himself as the village’s top entrepreneur, but he is oblivious to the fact that Caleb is simply exploiting his ignorance – and his bank account.
Jai has been getting increasingly frustrated with Caleb isn’t coming up with the goods with their business deal, and he’s starting to lose his rag.

One thing that irks Jai more than Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) beating him in their divorce proceedings is not being in control. And Caleb has no intention of giving Jai any control – or any of his money back.
So, Jai is particularly peeved when he learns that, despite him saying no, Caleb goes ahead and gives hopeless and unreliable Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) a job.
Why Caleb has made this move is anyone’s guess given her background, unless it’s purely to put Jai’s nose out of joint.
This is the final straw for Jai, who demands Caleb give him back his money. But Caleb has it hidden in an offshore account, and Jai still hasn’t realised that he is just a pawn in Caleb’s game. His money is gone.
Caleb pretends to go along with the request and makes a call which confirms his suggestion to Jai that it will take time to get the money back.
With no choice, will Jai give in? Or will his suspicions get the better of him?
