Emmerdale let slip Nate’s death five months ago with cryptic comment

Emmerdale fans are convinced it is Nate Robinson's body that has been found in the icy lake after the horrifying limo crash - but his death was 'revealed' ages ago

Could Nate's final scenes have given away his death?

Emmerdale seemingly let slip Nate Robinson’s death five months ago.

Nate decided to leave the village for Shetland after falling out with his whole family. He had split from his partner Tracy, and heartbreakingly told his daughter Frankie he had to go.

Him and his dad Cain also fell out when he wrongly believed that Nate and Moira were having an affair after Caleb saw Moira leaning on Nate after having another seizure. Whilst Nate denied anything untoward, Cain didn’t believe him.

In shocking final scenes between Cain and Nate, he attacked him. Nate insisted he would never touch Moira, and told his dad: “You’re my family, the dad I thought I’d never known.”

In sad scenes, Cain told his son: “You’re not my son and you never were. I’d be happy if I never saw you again,” before rushing out. Tracy was then left worried it was true and told him “everything had changed” and she wouldn’t go to Shetland.

Cain was later seen with Moira, who explained what happened. “C’mon Cain, I told you. That is not true. You’re becoming obsessed,” Moira said, as Cain then said he had lost his son. Moira was horrified by Cain’s comments.

“We’re done,” he told her before walking out – but the pair eventually reconciled. Nate then told Frankie he’d be going away, and gave a heartfelt goodbye to his little girl with his bracelet clearly on display.

Could this have been a hint that Nate was going to die? Fans believe he is the body in the lake after he was last seen in the same outfit and with the bracelet from Frankie on his wrist – but who killed him?

Taking to social media at the time of his exit, Jurell Carter – who played Nate – wrote: “So after 5 years, my time at Emmerdale has come to an end. I always say I don’t know where the time has gone but I genuinely don’t have a clue. I want to thank every single person who has supported me, rooted for me, watched me develop and grow over these past 5 years, I truly appreciate you.

“It’s been a massive chapter of my life and will always hold a special place in my heart. Emmerdale is a big family, from the minute I walked in the building on my first day I was made to feel welcome and wanted and I’ve been truly blessed to be a part of it.”
