Emmerdale’s Georgia Jay has confirmed she is pregnant.
The star, who plays Steph Miligan in the show, revealed the news on her Instagram yesterday.
Georgia recently featured in a TikTok video alongside her co-stars Bradley Riches (Lewis Barton) and Beth Cordingly (Ruby Miligan).
In the clip, Georgia is pregnant, but her post on social media is the first time she has officially shared the development.
Alongside a picture of her cradling her bump, Georgia wrote: ‘As you’ve probably guessed, I’ve got some news to share! I know some of you have been wondering if you’ve been seeing a little bump on screen lately… well, it’s not your imagination…I’m having a baby!’.
She added: ‘We’ve never been so excited and a little nervous all at once. Thank you for all the love and support.’
Georgia received plenty of love and support from her co-stars and friends in the comments section of the post. Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, said: ‘You absolute beauty…BUMPALISHOUS BABY!!!!’, while Vanessa Woodfield actress Michelle Hardwick wrote: ‘Beautiful Mama.’

Georgia has played the role of Steph Miligan in Emmerdale since 2024. The character is the daughter of Ruby and Caleb Miligan (William Ash).
Steph was at the centre of a heartbreaking storyline recently, which saw her attempt to change her physical appearance after learning a secret about her grandfather Anthony Fox.
The resident learnt that Anthony sexually abused Ruby when she was younger, making the man Steph’s granddad and biological father.
Reeling in shock, Steph concluded that the only way she’d be able to rid herself of the warped connection was to change the way she looks.
She attempted to get reconstructive surgery but it was stopped by her parents. A few days later, Steph reached a crisis point as she trapped herself in a car with a broken bottle of vodka.
The character was saved by Ruby and Caleb, and is now getting therapy.
