Ruby attacked as heated showdown spirals out of control in Emmerdale

Since Nate Robinson’s (Jurell Carter) body was exhumed from the Emmerdale lake, it’s not just the foul stench of decomposition that has filled the air, it’s the stink of lies, betrayal, and filthy accusations.
Tensions are running unbelievably high. Everyone wants to know what truly happened to Nate, while John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) is hoping no one finds out.
Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) is the first to point the finger in the direction of Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), and it’s not long before he responds in kind.
With fingers of suspicion pointing at each other, things start to get nasty between them and their relationship completely breaks down.

Things get worse when the police show up on Tracy’s doorstep with a warrant, and upon searching her house, find Nate’s phone in the playhouse.
With John having been grilled by police over Cain’s supposed involvement, this was the brutal plan he came up with to protect Cain.
Tracy’s nerves are on edge as she stares at the possibility of being charged with a murder she didn’t commit, and the claws are out as the accusations gain venom. The Dingles – including the normally meek and mild Sam (James Hooton) – are baying for Tracy’s blood. All think she’s guilty as sin.
With things escalating, acid-tongued Ruby (Beth Cordingly) can’t help but pour salt on the wounds for a terrified Tracy.
As allegations fly and tempers flare, there’s a showdown between Tracy and Ruby.
Ruby drops a clanger and, pushed to her limit, Tracy sees red and slaps Ruby hard.
Everyone rushes to break up the fight, but will Tracy’s violent actions come back to bite her when the police begin probing her alibi?
