Emmerdale’s Danny Miller was once romantically involved with a fellow soap star, but their relationship ended on a sour note.
Danny, who plays Aaron Dingle in the popular ITV soap, first graced our screens in 2008 and has since become a beloved character, featuring in numerous pivotal storylines.
Off-screen, Danny is happily married to his wife Steph. The couple exchanged vows in 2022 and have two children together – Albert, born in 2021, and Edith, born in 2023.
However, Danny’s romantic history hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Prior to marrying Steph, he was in a relationship with Kirsty-Leigh Porter, a fellow Emmerdale actress whom he met on set in 2010.

Kirsty-Leigh portrayed Roz Fielding on the show for a couple of years and was involved with Danny intermittently for five years, reports Belfast Live.
In addition to Emmerdale, Kirsty-Leigh has appeared in Coronation Street and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. She also joined the Hollyoaks cast in 2013, playing the role of Leela Lomax.

Unfortunately, Danny and Kirsty-Leigh’s relationship was fraught with difficulties. Reports of Danny’s infidelity led to their initial breakups in 2011 and 2012, according to The Sun.
Despite these setbacks, the pair reconciled and moved in together. However, their relationship came to an official end in 2016 after allegations surfaced that Danny had had an affair with another Emmerdale co-star.
As reported by Leeds Live, he allegedly sparked a fling with Victoria Sugden actress Isabel Hodgins, who was dating Michael Parr – Ross Barton’s actor – at the time. This supposed dalliance reportedly caused quite the stir on set, dividing the cast into factions.
Meanwhile, fans were gobsmacked to discover that Danny and Kirsty-Leigh were an item back in the day. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one user commented on a photo of the ex-couple: “I vaguely remember her from Emmerdale but she was in Hollyoaks for a few years. Didn’t know they dated though.”
Another fan chimed in: “Oh yeah she’s on Hollyoaks!” A third added their surprise with: “Oh yes!” accompanied by a mind-blown emoji.
Danny later found his soulmate in future wife Steph, whom he first met and dated during primary school. However, this early romance didn’t stand the test of time.
The pair did rekindle their love in 2019, leading to Danny popping the question during his 30th birthday trip to St Lucia in January 2021.
