Emmerdale Dylan’s new village romance ‘sealed’ as star drops huge hint
Emmerdale’s Dylan made his return this week and the troubled teen could be set for a village romance, according to the actor
Emmerdale’s Dylan Penders star Fred Kettle has teased a new village romance for the character.
The actor made his debut on the ITV soap earlier this year in a special episode centred on April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) after she ran away from home and lived on the streets.
Completely vulnerable and pregnant, April ended up befriending Dylan and Becca (Becca Ashton) who took April under their wing, especially when they found out she was pregnant.

Unfortunately, Becca was stabbed and later died, after she chased a thief who had taken her money. And a tragic turn of events, April sadly gave birth to a stillborn baby later on in a public toilet before returning to the Dales.
What’s more, shortly after April headed back, Dylan turned up, desperate to turn his life around. Addicted to the drug spice, Dylan was facing his own battles.
However, Marlon was not a fan of the youngster and went on to plant drugs on Dylan in a bid to force him out of April’s life.
Marlon’s plan backfired though after Dylan overdosed, and he ended up leaving the village to attend rehab – paid for by Marlon.
This week, Dylan made his comeback in the village, with April not knowing he is suffering from a nasty injury after breaking into Butler’s Farm.
And now, actor Fred has hinted that a potential relationship could blossom between the two.
Speaking to Reach and other press, Fred discussed Dylan and April’s relationship and said: “They really care about each other, they rely on each other.”
He added: “To be honest, it’s such a raw and fresh feeling for both of them.”
Teasing a romance, he went on: “I don’t think either of them have ever experienced this sort of relationship, wherever that’s going to go. It’s new to them and they’re taking it as it comes, it’s like a weird feeling.”
