Death in Paradise fans shouldn’t skip this “must watch” crime drama with a very familiar BBC star.
Death in Paradise fans have been urged to watch this “incredible” drama, particularly following a significant update.
Death in Paradise favourite DS Florence Cassell (portrayed by Josephine Jobert) first appeared in the BBC cosy crime series in season four before departing in series eight.
She thankfully made her return to Saint Marie, with her storyline concluding in season 13 when she contentedly sailed off with former superior DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little).
For those missing Jobert’s on-screen presence, Death in Paradise enthusiasts can now watch her in the Canadian detective drama Saint-Pierre.
The inaugural season has only recently become accessible on U&Alibi, alongside Sky and NOW, in the UK, having first aired in Canada in January 2025, with series two following in January 2026.

It has now been confirmed that Saint-Pierre will return for a third season, with British fans anticipating the latest two series becoming available to them shortly.
Filming for the 12-episode third season is reportedly set to commence in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and Newfoundland, Canada, in July.
However, there has been no confirmation yet regarding when British audiences will be treated to the second season.
Jobert plays enigmatic Parisian Deputy Chief Genevieve “Arch” Archambault, who finds herself forced to collaborate with disgraced officer Donny “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (Allan Hawco) following his exile to the small French collectivity.
Although the duo initially butt heads due to their contrasting investigative approaches, they soon discover they make an outstanding team, tackling a fresh case with every episode.

Boasting an impressive 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it comes as little surprise that viewers have been singing Saint-Pierre’s praises on IMDb.
“Obsessed! Seriously, I’m hooked. Every week, they leave you hanging with a cliffhanger, and I’m just dying!”, one fan commented.
Another branded it a “must watch”, while a third agreed: “The cast are excellent – they have great chemistry.
“Also Saint-Pierre is STUNNING! It’s a character all on its own and the scenery makes me want to visit someday – I didn’t even know it existed!”
Someone else hailed it as an “incredible series”, while yet another enthusiastic viewer added: “Just love this show! It’s so much more than a police procedural. The chemistry between Fitz and Arch has me hooked!”
