Death In Paradise’s Ralf Little returns to the small screen tonight with a brand new programme.

Ralf is gracing our televisions again this evening as he teams up with his best mate Will Mellor for their latest venture, Will and Ralf Should Know Better. The duo will be pushing their limits both physically and mentally in tonight’s instalment of the series.

Their adventure kicks off in Wrexham where they meet Rebecca, who challenges them to deadlift a hefty 33 stone car and frame. Later, they journey to Runcorn, the backdrop for their famed series Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Chips, only to find the former pub transformed into a Buddhist Temple. Here, Ralf and Will seek serenity together.

They also endure a Hostile Environment Training exercise but will they come out unscathed?

In anticipation of the show, Will shared why they embarked on this project. He told Radio Times: “We wanted to put ourselves in positions where we wouldn’t normally to see how we’d turn out.

“Me and him [Little] have known each other for a long time, so it meant we didn’t have to fake a friendship … I am much more open than he is, and that’s why I think our friendship works. Because we’re so different as people, and that’s why the podcast [Two Pints with Will and Ralf] works, and hopefully people will enjoy what we do in this show, because we are very different people.”

Ralf, famed for his portrayal of DI Neville Parker in Death In Paradise, stepped away from the sun-soaked drama earlier this year.

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, he said: “This last series was always going to be my last series, I had talks with the BBC, and with Red Planet, the production company and we all agreed that it just felt… if it was in my heart, like if it was just a heart decision, I’d have wanted to do it for 20 more years.

“But just for the show, and… for my character Neville, it just sort of felt like his story… it deserved to be sort of finished and his sort of journey… sort of deserved to be completed and he deserved a nice happy ending and so it just felt right,” he revealed.
