Emmerdale confirms a third character is dead with three more facing the end too

This article contains spoilers for Emmerdale’s episode on Tuesday February 18, now available to watch on ITVX.
The casualties in Emmerdale are continuing with brutal speed in the wake of Suzy Merton’s (Martelle Edinborough) death in the recent car crash, which then led to the discovery of a dead body under the lake’s depths.
As if that wasn’t enough, another character has met their end, with ambulance crews calling their death as they were rushed to hospital.
With three so far, another trio of characters have been left fighting for their lives too as paramedics, doctors and nurses raced to prepare for the influx of hospital admissions.
Metro has opted not to give away the identity of the third victim of the icy disaster – instead, you will have to keep watching the dramatic episodes, which still have some more twists to come.
We already know that Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) took a turn for the worse while Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) took a potentially deadly dip in the freezing water.
Everyone is now out of the limo, which has been completely submerged and those left behind are grieving their losses.

With Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) knowing that she could take some blame for what has happened, she issued a tearful apology to one panicked friend who is fearing the worst for their loved one.
Meanwhile, Charity herself is praying with all her might that her own son Noah (Jack Downham) makes it after he was found collapsed in the woodland.
It will soon emerged that Noah ended up on the road after being drugged – but was Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) responsible?

And if so, would this make him indirectly responsible for the tragedy of the lake.
It could be one of Emmerdale’s most deadliest events of all time. With three already written out of the show and three others hanging in the balance, it’s an event that no-one in the village will ever forget.
It comes not long after the murder of sick child abuser Anthony, who was only just recently bumped off by Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
It’s very clear that while Emmerdale has always been a dangerous place to live, 2025 may end up being its most killer year ever.
