Emmerdale viewers are forecasting the demise of a beloved character, and it’s all due to April Windsor.
April (played by Amelia Flanagan) has been through a tumultuous time on the ITV soap in recent months. Late last year, she vanished after a heated argument with her father Marlon (Mark Charnock), leading to a frantic search.
She was eventually discovered months later in a gym toilet, where she had unexpectedly gone into labour, only to be heartbroken by the stillbirth of her baby girl.
Since returning to the Dales, April has been grappling with her new reality, while Marlon lives in constant fear that she might vanish again, treading lightly around her.

Marlon, anxious about her running away again, has been lenient with her behaviour. However, he hasn’t been entirely innocent during this ordeal, reports Leicestershire Live.
Last month, he resorted to framing Dylan (Fred Kettle) – a friend April met on the streets – by planting drugs on him, a revelation that left April shocked this week.
In retaliation, April staged an overdose on ketamine, leaving Marlon to discover her seemingly lifeless body surrounded by drugs. Believing she was dead, he instructed Rhona (Zoe Henry) to call for emergency help, only for April to sit up and declare she was perfectly fine.
Things took a dramatic turn this week
Marlon took drastic action and slipped a tracking device onto April, escalating the tension in Thursday’s episode (April 2) of “Emmerdale”, where Marlon’s guilt pushed him to admit the truth about the tracker to his daughter.
Yet, amid the on-screen turmoil, fans are bracing for a tragic twist for Marlon. Chatter across social platforms suggests that they fear the stress April is causing could lead to his second stroke.
Having witnessed Marlon’s world turn upside down with a life-altering stroke in March 2022, viewers are now anxiously contemplating if history will tragically repeat itself, potentially leading to his death.

The speculation has reached fever pitch on an Emmerdale fan page on Facebook, with one viewer lamenting: “What April did to her poor dad was rotten. I do believe Marlon is going too far but the man is actually terrified he’s going to lose her. Don’t know how the storyline will come to an end but I have to say I’m quite fed up of it! !”.
Another chimed in with their theory: “Maybe Marlon will have another stroke and then she’ll be so regretful at how she’s been treating him..”
Additionally, another fan predicted a grim fate: “She will drive him to another stroke and he’ll die 100% calling it that’s the outcome.” Echoing this sentiment, yet another added: “I think Marlon will have another stroke with all the stress.”
