Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ Dylan’s real identity with family ‘already in village’

Viewers think there’s an Emmerdale twist on the way for newcomer Dylan, and that a former character could be involved.
Fred Kettle’s character recently debuted as someone April Windsor met after she ran away from home, with Dylan living on the streets. This week he made his way to the village leading to drama with April’s father Marlon who wasn’t keen on him being around.
But amid an overdose twist and fans calling for Dylan to stay permanently, some viewers are speculating there is more to Dylan and his arrival onto the show. Some fans think he might secretly be connected to an Emmerdale family, and may have an unknown link to the village.
In fact, he could even be related to Marlon and April if the theory is anything to go by. It’s not clear where the rumour came from, but viewers have become convinced that Dylan is a secret Dingle.
They believe his real identity is that he is the long-lost son of Eli Dingle. Marlon’s brother Eli left the soap years ago, and there’s been no mention of his life now and if he has a family.
It’s likely that Marlon would know if he had a nephew and if it was Dylan. That has not stopped the rumour mill being in a spin though, with fans sure it will be revealed that Dylan is a Dingle.

Sharing the theory on social media, one fan said: “He will be a Dingle. But don’t let it drag on like the other stories.” Another agreed: “He’s Eli’s son it has to be,” as a third asked: “Who was Eli’s son’s mum??”
The comments continued with another fan suggesting: “He is Eli Dingle’s son,” as a further tweet read: “Hope he is a Dingle we need new blood.” Another fan commented: “I read he possibly could be Marlon’s brother Eli’s son.”
Viewers will have to just stay tuned to find out if there is a link for Dylan and the village, and whether he will stay on the show. Spoilers for next week reveal horror ahead in an overdose plot, after an initial set-up by Marlon.
