Emmerdale fans ‘work out who Jade’s mum is’ after DNA theory – but it’s not Ruby

Emmerdale fans had speculated over Jade’s real identity and a possible link to Ruby and Caleb Miligan, but now another ITV soap favourite could be related to the newcomer

Viewers watching recent episodes of Emmerdale were introduced to a new character called Jade, but could she be linked to a past character?

Jade arrived as part of a new storyline with Billy Fletcher. She’s a boxing promoter, paying him to compete in unlicensed fights with fans fearing Billy will die.

With Jade making her debut in the latest episode, played by actress Twinnie-Lee Moore, fans immediately guessed she was hiding her real identity. As with most new characters fans are always convinced there is some sort of secret they are harbouring.

One huge theory was that Jade was actually the mystery daughter of Caleb and Ruby Miligan, named Stephanie. But is she really pretending to be someone else, and is she related to a villager or two?

A new theory has suggested this could be the case, but it’s not Ruby who will turn out to be her mother. In fact one theory suggests Jade is the secret daughter of a past resident who still has ties to the village.

Fans are wondering if in a major bombshell, Jade will be confirmed to be the daughter of none other than Sadie King. Sadie is the ex of Jimmy King, and was played by Patsy Kensit.

After calls for a comeback for Sadie, fans have speculated Jade could be her daughter. It doesn’t seem unfortunately that this will be the case, as it’s been revealed Jade is only a guest character.

Whether she is hiding something about her identity or her reasons for coming to the village remains to be seen. But wouldn’t it be epic if it did turn out she was the relative of a former character, possibly leading to their comeback?

It comes as fans predicted a sad death for Billy as part of his dark storyline. Comments about them “not being able to get rid of him” and him being at risk of infection left many convinced a death was on the cards.

Mackenzie Boyd told his pal he thought he was a goner, while John Sugden, who treated Billy’s wounds, warned him one more punch could kill him. Viewers began predicting a death was being foreshadowed, and that the storyline would lead to Billy’s exit.

One fan posted on social media: “Billy will end up dead,” as another said: “Billy is putting his life on the line.” A third fan wrote: “Who gets paid when Billy inevitably dies?”
