Emmerdale favourite reunites with co-star just weeks after being killed off

Emmerdale’s Natalie Ann Jamieson has reunited with her co-star Olivia Bromley, weeks after leaving the show.

Natalie’s character Amy Wyatt was one of the three women who died following the limo crash disaster in February. Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) died shortly after the collision, while Amy and Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) deaths were confirmed while in hospital.

Amy’s death was an utterly tragic way to mark the end of her marriage to Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano). Prior to the ordeal, Amy and Matty met a social worker to discuss the process of adopting a child.

After spending around 6 years playing Amy Wyatt, Natalie has made lifelong friends at the ITV soap. Just recently, she reunited with one of them for a day at the races.

Over on Natalie’s Instagram, she shared a variety of fun snaps with Olivia Bromley, who of course plays Dawn Taylor in the show.

The pals attended the Cheltenham Races, which sparked the opportunity for fabulous outfits and dressing to impress!

Natalie can be seen in a light blue suit, while Olivia is wearing a black outfit and an olive green coat.

And they’re both donning impressive hats, obviously!

‘Absolutely fantastic day at @thegreenroomexperience @cheltenhamraces today! Thank you for having us’, Natalie wrote alongside.

The aftermath of the deaths in Emmerdale saw three new storylines begin involving Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), Mary (Louise Jameson) and Tracy (Amy Walsh).

Flashback scenes that aired during Amy and Leyla’s funerals allowed us to learn that Tracy has been taking money from the shop till, Mary kissed friend Suzy just before she died, and Manpreet started sharing private images online for money, which has now spiralled into a blackmailing nightmare.

Following her exit, Natalie Ann Jamieson spoke to Metro about her departure, as well as her favourite moments as Amy.

‘These recent episodes are definitely a highlight. This has been incredible, so for sure all of this stuff. The wedding – I absolutely loved Amy and Matty’s wedding, helping them design what Amy was wearing and stuff like that. That was so good’, she said.

‘Amy’s entrance in Belfast – so good. And that went straight into International Women’s Day ep. I felt really lucky to do both of them in a row. And then the factory fire, that was huge.’

She added: ‘We filmed in exactly the same place as where we did the lake stuff. All the big things happen there, which is really cool. I’ve always loved working with Huey (Quinn) and all of that storyline where he shot Al, that always sticks out to me as the best one.

‘There was just something about working with Huey on that. He was so good! He started off as a little boy when I got there and then all of a sudden, he had his own storyline and he was so good. I was just so proud of Huey.’
