Emmerdale mystery hooded figure ‘exposed’ – but there’s huge twist
The appearance of a shadowy figure in a recent cliffhanger caught the imagination of eagle-eyed viewers, who wasted no time in suggesting who they thought it was
Fans of Emmerdale claim they have cracked the case of the enigmatic hooded figure from a cliffhanger in a recent episode.
After the horrific limo tragedy last month that claimed the lives of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson), the sleepy village has been on edge.
Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) managed to survive the accident and later left Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) a heart-wrenching voicemail as she mulled over the chaos left behind.
As Tracy shared the events to Nate, yearning for his embrace, viewers got a sneak peek at the frosty lake crime zone with an eerie hooded figure lurking about, looking at officers as they scoured for clues.
Fans will remember that when Amy fell into the frozen lake ,she discovered a corpse in the water with her and attempted to inform her loved ones that it seemingly appeared to be Nate’s body before she died.
Fast forward to scenes from Monday’s (March 3) episode and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) appeared wearing a black hoodie, setting tongues wagging among fans who now suspect she might have had a hand in Nate’s death.
On one Emmerdale Facebook group, a super-sleuth fan posted: “Did anybody else notice Moira had a black hoody on in today’s episode at the end? Wonder if she had anything to do with Nate’s body?”
Soap fans have been tossing around wild theories after the latest plot developments on Emmerdale, with one fan pointing out: “I noticed, hood up too, I thought they’re dressing them all in hoody’s [sic.] lately!”
Another viewer speculated: “I have started to think it may be someone other than John! Everyone seems to think it is him who is responsible for Nate and Anthony’s demise! Maybe Moira or even Ruby to get revenge on Tracey for her fling with Caleb.”
Troubled Nate’s exit from the Dales came following a falling out with his dad Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and some rocky moments with Tracy, which led him to pack his bags for Shetland in search of a new beginning, reports Leeds Live.
However, since his move, Tracy’s been left in worry as she’s not heard from Nate except for the odd text, and calls are diverted straight to voicemail.
And just to thicken the plot, the soap has been dropping hints that a body discovered in a lake might belong to Nate, as everything seems to lead back to the departed character so far.
Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 7.30pm on ITV1 with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. It is also available to watch each weekday morning at 7am on ITVX
