Emmerdale star lets slip when Nate’s death is revealed onscreen as killer to be exposed
Emmerdale's Tracy Robinson actress Amy Walsh has revealed when Nate Robinson's murder will be revealed to his family in the village after a twist confirmed he was dead
Nate Robinson’s murder will not remain a secret for much longer on Emmerdale, and his killer could finally be exposed.
Tracy Robinson will uncover the sickening truth about her husband’s disappearance in just a matter of weeks it seems. Actress Amy Walsh has spilled to The Mirror and other press that the truth finally comes out, and they’ve begun filming the moment Nate’s death comes to light to those in the village.
It’s not clear who finds out or who discovers his body, which is currently wrapped up and chained at the bottom of a lake. Amy teased “juicy” scripts about the storyline and what happens in the fallout which she’s just received recently, while she also confirmed they’d begun the plot where Nate’s death comes to light.
With filming being around six to eight weeks before transmission, this means characters will likely find out onscreen about Nate’s murder in just a matter of weeks, and two months tops. So May or June will see the big reveal, and it could also back up the fan theory that the funeral Cain Dingle attends is his son Nate’s.
Speaking about what’s ahead, Amy revealed: “I think it’s gonna be so exciting. I’ve just actually started the beginning of that story now where she finds out, and it’s brilliant because I love that the audience know and she doesn’t, and they’re just waiting for this pay off and waiting for her to find out who’s done it.
“It’s been a long time coming, so long, and all this feeling that she’s had that he’s done badly to her, and finally poor Nate gets his… justice.” She went on: “It’s such a journey for Tracy to take, I’m really excited, we just got some new scripts through that I’ve started reading and it’s really juicy stuff for me and I’ve not had anything that big for a while.
“It’s partly daunting because you’re working a lot more, which I love, but juggling that with home life can be a challenge but it’s fun.” Tracy has recently said to others that Nate is not paying child support and she has not been able to get hold of him.
She has no idea he is dead and thinks he’s working in Shetland, having seemingly gone there last September after a row with Tracy and Cain. But Nate never left the village, and we could finally find out who killed him.
Once the storyline kicks off it’s likely we will get clues or even a giveaway of who killed and disposed of Nate in the lake. We still haven’t seen the flashforward clip of someone dumping a body in water, so was this Nate’s demise?
Amy’s talks of Nate getting justice could well mean the killer is caught out, or perhaps she was referring to the fact Tracy will realise he’s not been ignoring their daughter Frankie like she thought. Either way the killer has to be exposed at some point.
She was coy over whether she knew who killed Nate but given Nate actor Jurell Carter knew all long, perhaps other stars have been told the identity of the killer too. Jurell recently teased to Digital Spy: “I was told a little while beforehand about the plan for Nate.
“I had a meeting with Sophie Roper, one of the producers at Emmerdale, and she told me the storylines that would happen for my exit. It might sound cheesy, but I had goosebumps in the meeting.”
