Emmerdale’s Dawn makes a vile accusation against Billy as social services investigate

It seems Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) is now prepared to defend Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) in Emmerdale, even though he threatened her daughter, stole a man’s kidney, spiked his brother, and was responsible for the death of three women.
Have we missed anything?
Despite telling Joe they wouldn’t be getting back together, Dawn has seemingly been unable to control herself around him and his charm.
She’s been smiling and flirting, and has gradually came to realise that Joe doesn’t intend on giving up with showing that he’s a man who can be trusted.

Recently, while Joe and Dawn were talking, youngster Clemmie (Mabel Addison) came downstairs and spotted them. Seeing her mum happy with Joe made Clemmie realise they might be getting back together, and that was a terrifying prospect for her.
It was only a few weeks ago that Joe told Clemmie that he could send her back into care, so seeing him make Dawn smile left her with the urge to try and change things.
She rang social services and explained to someone on the line that she is scared of her mum’s new boyfriend. Unsurprisingly, there was a knock at the door at Home Farm in tonight’s episode, and it was a social worker.
While Joe and Dawn spoke to the woman, Billy (Jay Kontzle) was at The Hide with Clemmie. He recognised that she was being distant and gently encouraged her to open up.
After learning Clemmie’s secret, Billy brought her back to Home Farm. The youngster confessed to calling social services, and Dawn made sure that she knew she wasn’t in trouble.
The social worker concluded that Clemmie wasn’t in any danger at home and left. Just as she departed though, Dawn suggested to Billy that he told Clemmie to call the social, as part of a revenge plan on her and Joe.
Billy was disgusted. This comment served as a reminder to him that he doesn’t know who Dawn is anymore.
Just what will she do next as Joe continues to have an influence on her?
