Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has shared some exciting news about the upcoming series of Fletcher's Farm alongside his wife Liz on Instagram
Kelvin Fletcher has dropped some exciting yet emotional news about the forthcoming series of Fletcher’s Farm. The ex-Emmerdale heartthrob took to Instagram to dish out some exciting news with his wife, Liz. On their Instagram story, cheeky Liz teased Kelvin with a “big reveal” quipping: “Don’t worry, I am not pregnant.”
Instead, she unveiled a charming painting she’d whipped up and was putting on display in one of their guest cottages. In a different snippet, Kelvin caught up with his fans to spill the beans on the ongoing filming for their show. He mentioned that Fletcher’s Farm is slated for a year-end release, with shooting rolling on at their countryside spread.
So passionate about farm life, the soap star delved into the heartfelt news regarding the batch of newbies that have joined them this spring, reports Cheshire Live.
During the first Insta story segment, Kelvin strides up the steps towards Liz, bantering with the camera: “Just in the cottage. Liz has just done a quick clean as we’re waiting for some new guests, and we’re just filming a little bit of… what is it?”
“It’s a reveal,” Liz chipped in, jesting further: “Don’t worry, I’m not pregnant.”
Liz proceeded to flaunt her artistic streak with a painting, but Kelvin couldn’t resist a gag even though cameraman Sam sung its praises, declaring: “I love it.” Kelvin quipped: “It does look good on here (the camera), but to the naked eye…”
Next, Kelvin was braving the great outdoors to give an update on both homestead happenings and the eagerly anticipated Fletcher’s Farm series.
He began: “Hey guys, I just thought I’d jump on. I feel like I’ve not been on here for a little bit, catching up with everybody. Hope you’re all well, couple of things to report.
“We are in the midst of series three filming at the minute, that’s very busy. We’ve got, obviously, a camera crew and a film crew here every day.
“We’re just capturing every day on the farm. Obviously, lambing has been and gone now. The sheep are thriving. The lambs are looking amazing. It’s been the best lambing experience we’ve ever had. Spoiler alert. Without a little bit of drama as well, though, which I’m sure you can all see on the TV show.”
Kelvin then touched on the expected release time for the series: “I think end of the year it’s coming out.
“We have not been given any proper dates yet, but series three, I keep being asked, ‘When is it on?’ Autumn time it normally comes on.
“Cows are in calf. They’re about to calf. We’ve got some paddock grazing setups. We’re getting a bit geeky with our grass products, and you’ll have also seen from our previous posts that we’re a mixed farm now.”
He revelled in the recent successes on the farm, saying they’ve had a “farm revelation” since they’ve managed to grow oats again after two decades.
Ending the video with a hint of anticipation, Kelvin suggested, “We’ve got some exciting things happening in the barn. We’ve got some exciting projects coming up, we’ve got an amazing event coming up, there’s a lot coming up.
“I’m just trying to think strategically, what I can say and what I can’t, spoiler alert, and all that. Thanks again for all your support, your messages, it means so much.”
