Emmerdale’s Kim Tate makes huge declaration in ITVX release as she’s set to lose everything

Kim Tate (Claire King) was surprisingly honest during a conversation with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) in this evening’s episode of Emmerdale.
Kim spent the first part of this year suspicious of Joe, wondering why he decided to move back into Home Farm after so long.
She tried to find out his motives by bugging his room, but wasn’t successful. It meant Kim was completely oblivious of Joe’s plan to find a donor match so Doctor Crowley (James Hillier) could perform the illegal transplant.
Prior to Crowley’s return, Joe’s focus was on building his relationship with Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and trying to connect with her children. Watching Joe prove that he might have another interest other than money made Kim see him in a different light.
In this evening’s episode, Joe sat Kim down to talk about a potential business investment.
Joe pitched his ideal well, but Kim remained unaware that he was only doing it as part of Eddie Crowley’s blackmail plot.
Crowley told Joe a few days ago that he needs his help to get all of Kim’s money. Betraying his gran was the last thing Joe wanted to do, but he feels like he doesn’t have any choice due to the fact that Crowley has dirt on him.
Kim was interested in what Joe had to say, but told him that she’d reach a decision about the investment tomorrow, once she’d slept on it.
As she stood up, Kim admitted that she doesn’t know what she’d do without Joe.
What a way to increase the guilt.
Joe is going to need to come up with an idea fast if he’s to prevent Crowley taking all of Kim’s money – but can he do it?
