Joe Tate ‘dead’ in early Emmerdale ITVX release as revenge is taken

The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is lying on the floor outside Home Farm in Emmerdale, after being pushed out of a window by one very angry resident.
The entire episode tonight focused on Lydia Dingle’s (Karen Blick) birthday party at Home Farm. The Dingles and Tates were all invited, along with other residents such as Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton).
Due to the fact Joe was also present, Home Farm made for the location of some intense stares and subtle comments in his direction.
Billy spent time wondering whether or not to get revenge on Joe for sleeping with Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and upsetting Clemmie (Mabel Addison), while Charity (Emma Atkins) set about spiking his drink, the same thing he did to Noah (Jack Downham) in February.

The positive vibes quickly became overshadowed by everyone’s hatred for Joe, but he smugly carried on with his head held high, trying to give the impression he hasn’t done anything wrong.
The dynamic became tense when the police arrived searching for the Tate. He had been reported by Noah, who found out that his brother caused the limo crash and his spiking earlier that day.
One by one, Joe’s secrets started to be exposed in front of everyone. Matty (Ash Palmisciano) was fuming to discover he caused Amy’s (Natalie Ann Jameson) death, and Billy felt humiliated when Charity told everyone that Joe and Dawn had been sleeping together.
With night falling and people off home (was there really any reason to celebrate?), the remaining people in Home Farm were trying to deal with the events of the day.
Upstairs, a heartbroken Dawn confronted Joe about the accusations against him. She had thrown her marriage away to be with Joe, but had no idea the person she fell in love with wasn’t really him.
The instalment tonight ended with Joe in a bad way after being pushed from a window. As it stands, the list of people who could’ve done it is very long but ultimately, only one person succeeded in their plan.
Just who pushed Joe?
