There are 16 possible victims of the big limo crash of 2025, but which of the Emmerdale crew is left facing death in the icy depths of a nearby lake?
When Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) loses the competition to win a night in a limo to Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), he hires his own limo with grand plans of proposing to Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter). With Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) blessing in hand, he preps for the biggest night of his life.
His plans fall apart though when Kerry invites Chas on a huge night out. Miffed at being out of pocket and with a failed proposal plan, Liam invites the lads out to enjoy the car he hired.
But there’s a catch that becomes clear when the cars arrive – neither have drivers. Charity (Emma Atkins) steps forward to drive the ladies, while Caleb (William Ash) volunteers to drive the boys – part of his plan to sit as far away from Cain (Jeff Hordley) as possible, who he’s recently come to believe slept with his wife.
But Caleb is not in a happy head space, and with the lads behind him acting up, he loses concentration and in turn, loses control of the vehicle. In a bid to avoid an oncoming truck, he swerves off the road.
Meanwhile, the girls are also having a raucous time of it, and with Charity equally as distracted, when a disorientated Noah (Jack Downham) randomly pops up in the middle of the road, Charity is forced to veer off at speed to avoid killing her son.
There’s no time for her to wonder why he was there, as both limos separately crash with glass, debris and people thrown everywhere.
One limo lands on a frozen lake.
The ice-bound limo is in a precarious situation, and as the occupants come to and take stock of their situation, they realise that there’s someone amongst them in a dire way – not breathing and with life-threatening injuries.
Panic takes hold and people start to move, which in turn moves the heavy limo that’s balancing on the surface.
Before long, the ice gives way and the car crashes in.
As it plunges into the watery depths, one Emmerdale favourite is seen sinking away from the life-saving light. A hand reaches in to grab them, but is it too late?
