New enemy for Emmerdale’s Cain in heated scenes as he brands fellow villager a ‘snitch’

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) had the frustrating job of dealing with the aftermath of Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) arrest in tonight’s Emmerdale.
Yesterday, Sarah was caught by PC Swirling (Andy Moore) in Cain’s car. She claimed she had permission to drive it, but was then backed into a corner when Swirling checked the boot of the vehicle.
Inside was a load of stolen goods. A few hours prior, Sarah and Kammy (Shebz Miah) were outside the haulage firm watching Rodney (Patrick Mower) sort a van out.
Sarah then trapped Rodney inside, so she could steal some of the items. It left Kammy surprised, and he pointed out he wasn’t impressed.
Unbeknownst to them both, Swirling was only in the area because Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) contacted him. He assumed the car theft was solely Kammy’s doing, unaware Sarah has been partaking in reckless behaviour too.
In tonight’s episode, a concerned Kammy arrived at Sarah’s looking for answers. Cain and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) were busy trying to get Sarah’s medication together, knowing she’d need it if she was going to be in prison for longer.
Curious, Kammy then realised Sarah had been keeping a massive secret from her. Cain explained that Sarah has FA, which means she won’t live as long as everyone else.

Kammy said that he cares about Sarah and wants to help, but perhaps wasn’t expecting that help to be taking the fall for his new mate.
Fortunately, just before Kammy prepared to speak to a police officer, Sarah was released.
That evening, Cain and Charity spoke about Kammy in the pub. It was clear Cain’s opinion of Kammy was changing, recognising it was a pretty bold move to report himself to the police for Sarah’s sake.
Charity didn’t agree with Cain’s points and neither did Jacob, who was listening in on the conversation.
Jacob confessed to calling the police which annoyed Cain a great deal. He called Jacob a snitch – if he hadn’t been jealous of Kammy, Sarah wouldn’t have got arrested.
Cain headed out leaving Jacob and Charity to bond over their mutual dislike for Kammy.
The two characters are still adamant that Kammy is bad news, but given everything he did in tonight’s episode, are they right?
