Passion revealed in Emmerdale as Ross spends the night with unexpected villager

Ross Barton (Michael Parr) is devasted in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale as Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) ends their relationship.
Steph has been spiralling ever since she discovered the truth about her grandfather Anthony. She learnt that the evil man abused Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) when she was a child, and was only born after Anthony raped his daughter.
Sharing the complex and distorted connection with Anthony has been something Steph has struggled to process. Every time she looks at her reflection, she sees Anthony staring back at her.
Steph decided to take action by looking into plastic surgery. She believed that if she changed her physical appearance, the reminder of Anthony wouldn’t be as vivid.

This week, Steph reaches a critical point. She goes into a full meltdown right in front of Ross, explaining her thoughts and feelings in a dark and worrying way. He tries to console her, but Steph snaps and insults him.
Ross withstands the torrent of abuse from Steph until she runs out of steam. Filled with self-loathing, Steph grabs a bottle of vodka and runs.
In the aftermath, Steph finds Ross in the café and they chat. She explains that she needs to focus on her own recovery, and thinks it would be best if their relationship ended.
Completely gutted, Ross finds a rebound in the form of a lonely Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker). After spending the night with her, Ross goes to leave but the local GP tries to discuss what just happened.
Spotting Caleb (William Ash) in the street, Ross shrugs Manpreet off and leaves, not wanting to insinuate that he’s moved on already.
Ross is a troublemaker but he really liked Steph, the news of the breakup will no doubt hit him hard.
Just what will happen next with him?
