Vanessa and Charity ‘unite’ to stop Sarah’s wild plan in Emmerdale

Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) got her hopes up in Emmerdale recently when she took a pregnancy test and it came back positive.
Sadly, the thought of becoming a mother was ripped away from her in minutes, as an appointment with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) revealed that she wasn’t actually pregnant.
Sarah distracted herself from this and the recent dumping by Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) by hanging out with Kammy (Shebz Miah).
They passed the time by joyriding in cars, but when Sarah stole from the haulage company and locked Rodney (Patrick Mower) inside a van, Kammy thought that was a step too far.

Seemingly on a comedown from the buzz of behaving recklessly, Sarah starts to think about her future in upcoming episodes and reaches a conclusion.
She still wants a baby.
When Sarah tells Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) about her plan to become a mum, she’s taken aback. Vanessa questions Sarah’s decision, and is forced to bite down on her concern while Sarah explains her IVF plans.
During an appointment with Manpreet, Sarah tries her hardest to convince Manpreet that IVF is possible despite her condition.
Manpreet tries to be sympathetic, but it seems the young adult can’t accept her reality.
Later in the week, Sarah finds Vanessa and reveals that she’s been in touch with a few clinics to see if she’s eligible for IVF.
When Charity (Emma Atkins) approaches them both, Vanessa and Sarah become flustered.
Knowing her gran should be aware of what’s going on, Vanessa pushes Sarah to tell Charity.
But will she listen?
