Death in Paradise’s Ralf Little addresses ‘failing health’ in candid statement
Death in Paradise's Ralf Little issued a statement about his health.

Former Death in Paradise star Ralf Little spoke out as he addressed rumours that he has been facing “ill health”. Speaking in a studio, Ralf addressed a story that had claimed that Ralf had previously posted a video talking about a mystery illness he was facing. He captioned the post: “Nope, my health isn’t ‘failing’. Don’t believe everything you read online!”
He said to the camera: “I think it’s time for me to take a moment to address the very difficult subject of my (0:06) ailing health,” as he showed a screenshot of the article.
Ralf continued: “As you can see, this article has all the information you need right here. ‘Ralph Little breaks his silence about his failing health and says, I need your prayers’. That’s obviously something I would say, it being known that I’m an atheist. (0:23) So let’s get into it because I’d really like to kind of open up.”
He read out: “Fans of Death and Paradise and Beyond Paradise are reeling today after beloved actor Ralf Little finally spoke out about his declining health, breaking weeks of silence that had left viewers increasingly worried. What he revealed is some shockwaves to the fan community.” He said to the camera: “Let’s find out what that is, shall we?”
The story continued: “For months, followers noticed something was off. Ralph appeared visibly exhausted in recent public appearances.” He said: “Cheeky b*****ds! I’m not even ill, but that’s rude. Cancelling events, stepping back from social media, and keeping unusually quiet about future projects.
Ralf said: “It goes on, but I just wanted to let everybody know that this is not a real article. I mean, it’s out, but I didn’t post the video. I’m fine. I’ve got my brew.
“I’m still alive. I’m still healthy. Do you know what? Let’s have a look at some comments. I mean, a community united by concern. Thank you to all the real people who commented on this real article.”
He then read out: “It’s rare for an actor to open up so candidly, and the raw honesty of his message only deepens (1:58) fans’ affection. As one fan commented, we don’t care about shows or schedules. We care about you, Ralph. Take the time you need.”
He finished off by telling fans: “It’s not real. (2:07) It’s just not real.” His Instagram followers quickly took to the post as one said: “So glad you’re healthy with your wit intact,” as a second chimed in: “Well you look fit and well to me. Nevertheless, Sending thoughts and prayers @ralf.little … get well soon”, adding a laughing emoji.
